January 2023 REACH Candidate List Update- Impact on IMDS
On the 17th January 2023, 9 new substances were added by ECHA to the REACH Candidate List. As some of the new entries are substance groups this set of nine equates to 12 new individual substances. You can see the full details in the file attached. In summary, 10 of those 12 are present in the IMDS Basic Substance list, and of those 5 are currently listed on GADSL, the autmotive industry declarable substance list. The nine substances that are present in IMDS will be flagged as such on the 3rd February.
