EPR Consulting Ltd

Extended Producer Responsibility Compliance Solutions

About us

EPR Consulting is the DXC Technology approved International Materials Data System (IMDS) trainer for the UK, Republic of Ireland, Turkey, South Africa and Australia. In addition to training we provide outsourcing services to companies at all levels of the supply chain to build their compliance strategy for Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) driven legislative and voluntary initiatives.

Put simply, EPR requires manufacturers to be financially and legally responsible for the life cycle impacts of their products on the environment. In the automotives sector, the key EPR driven initiatives are the End of Life Vehicles Directive, and corresponding compliance tool, IMDS; and latterly the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) Regulation.

This shift in focus away from site based environmental impacts to product impacts creates a variety of challenges as well as opportunities for manufacturers. Supply chains are global and complex, and product is often supplied to multiple markets around the world which can make compliance seem a daunting prospect.

By developing the infrastructure, systems and expertise necessary to manage these issues, our aim is to support companies in building robust, efficient compliance strategies that are appropriate to the size of their organisation. By taking a proactive stance to EPR compliance, companies stand to benefit from enhanced brand perception, identification of new business opportunities and growth of market share, and the building stronger relationships with customers, investors, suppliers, regulatory bodies and broader stakeholders.
