REACH Candidate List Update – 16 January 2020
ECHA has published the latest installment of the REACH Candidate List with four entries added on the 16th January 2020 bringing the total number to 205. This latest update includes three individual substances, and one substance group Perfluorobutane sulfonic acid (PFBS) and its salts which covers 12 individual substances listed in the ECHA supporting document.
The Candidate List update was implemented in IMDS and CDX on 7th February with four substances being flagged in IMDS (only four substances were found to be present in the IMDS Basic Substance List). All 15 substances (12 PFBS and the three individual CL substances were flagged as SVHC in CDX).
