IEC62474 now available in CDX!
IEC62474 “Material Declaration for Products of and for the Electrotechnical Industry” is an International Standard published by the International Electrotechnical Commission for the capture of regulatory compliance data applicable to the global electronics industry. It is widely regarded as a successor to existing electronic industry standards JIG-101 and IPC175x.
EPR has worked with HP to integrate the IEC62474 declarable substance list into the Compliance Data Exchange (CDX) tool to enable the electronics industry to deploy CDX for the capture of IEC62474 compliance data from their supply chain. This is the same manner in which IMDS is deployed in the automotive supply chain to capture declaration data against the automotive equivalent, the Global Automotive Declarable Substance List (GADSL).
